Biritera - March 20, 2012

Biritera (The Belter) is a Philippine musical drama produced by GMA Network starring Angelika dela Cruz, Dennis Trillo, Glaiza de Castro and a new singing child star Roseanne Magan in the title role. Directed by Maryo J. de los Reyes, Biritera premieres February 6, 2012 replacing Munting Heredera on GMA Telebabad block.

The new series is about a story of a mother who, in her struggle to keep her children from being taken away from her, needs to deal with unfortunate circumstances. Alice Dixson will reunite with her "Babaeng Hampaslupa" co-star Jay Manalo as they portray Amelia and Mario, respectively. They will become an ill-fated couple who get estranged from each other and will soon lose their three children.
